The PulseTech PowerPulse PP48L is not a charger.  This onboard device utilizes revolutionary ReNew-IT Pulse Technology™ to safely prevent the main cause of battery problems and failure: sulfation.  Over time, the chemical reation of lead acid batteries, force sulfates to leave their liquid state, adhere to and build up on the lead battery plates.  This build-up of sulfur inhibits the electrolyte from reacting with the plates and slowly kills your battery.  The phrase "my battery never seems to have the power it used to!" is a common remark, that does not need to be uttered when you use a Power Pulse onboard desulfator.  The PP-48-L will prevent sulfation from occurring and can even reverse the effects and recondition batteries that have become sulfated.
