MonoCrystalline Solar Cells
Batteries for
Monocrystalline solar cells are typically a dark blue in color and are manufactured from a single silicon crystal. They are the most expensive of all the solar technologies to produce, but have the highest rated efficiencies ranging from 15-20%. Mono-crystalline modules are commonly used in large solar arrays found on “solar farms” and roof tops. Polycrystalline or multicrystalline panels are feasible alternatives for designing large scale solar applications.
