SS350 (1973-1974)

The Harley SS-350 bike is a tricky beast to match with the correct battery. We have many conflicting reports and aparently is easy to upgrade from a 6V to a 12V meaning many bikes have a different battery than what was originally in the machaine.
With that said Yuasa indicates the SS-350 used the 6N11A-1B conventional battery in the "early years." Is that the early years for the 344cc four stroke (1973-74) or the 350cc two-stroke from 1975 thru 1978? Or perhaps it relates to a model from the 1960's.
In any case we know the 6N11A-1B was used on these bikes at some point in their history. We are unsure as to the exact years. Please call and let us know what you have in your bike so we can better assist future customers!
