The Honda Shadow cruiser-type motorcycles were first introduced in 1983 with the VT500c and VT700c. Since then Honda has produced a VT600c, VT750c, VT800c and VT1100c all of which have a V-twin liquid cooled engine. Many of the early Shadow motorcycles had the oddly designed “T” shaped battery found in no other Honda bike or used by any other manufacturer.
There are 5 basic Honda Shadow motorcycle styles: the Standard Shadow, American Classic Edition (ACE), Aero, Sabre and Spirit.
