SILCON SL30KFB2 (Requires 128 Batteries)

Based on customers we have spoken with, we believe the APC Silcon SL30KFB2 back up system requires one hundred twenty-eight (128) 12 volt 7.2Ah sealed lead acid batteries. According to them, you will find 16 trays with 8 Panasonic batteries in each tray. The APC website adds some confusion to this discontinued product by indicating on one page it requires 2 of the RBC2 cartridges (which are made up of the 7Ah batteries) and on a second page indicating it requires a 76 Ah battery. Still to muddy the waters further many websites seem to indicate this SL30KFB2 battery backup system requires eight (8) of the 12V 100Ah batteries.

In short we are not 100% certain what actually came in this APC unit originally or what battery configuration changes have/can be made to fit inside. We have confidence in the customers we have spoken with, since they provided first hand knowledge of what they saw and touched when they opened up their APC SL30KFB2 battery backup.
