The Rascal 230 Deluxe (Short Frame) with rear wheel drive is powered by two 32Ah to 35Ah U1 size 12v batteries (requires 2) . For the longest travel between charges buy the 12v 35Ah AGM. If you have previously installed Gel type, we have that option too! We do not carry the onboard charger used for this model.
Note: Current charger for Gel? Use AGM type batteries and upgrade to higher capacity safely.
