The Tuffcare Challenger 2000 power chair requires (2) 12 Volt 35Ah (U1) batteries. The durable power system with the programmable controller requires minimum maintenance. These batteries can be safely charged with our 5A chargers, or for faster charges, our 7A chargers. Gel batteries require different chargers than AGM batteries. If you choose to purchase Gel replacement batteries, and do not already own a charger, be sure to purchase a Gel compatible charger as well.
