Critical telecommunication applications use Deka Unigy batteries to provide reliable long-lasting power. The Unigy I telecom batteries are optimized for power capacity and cell consistency using exclusive IPF technology. These valve-regulated lead-acid (VRLA) sealed absorbed glass-mat (AGM) batteries eliminate the need for periodic watering, the expulsion of corrosive acid fumes, and the possibility of spills.

The Deka Unigy I top terminal and front terminal line are available as a 6 cell (12 volt) monobloc battery. The top access AGM line is available in capacities ranging from 27 to 130 Ah. While the front access monobloc ranges from 100 Ah to 170 Ah.

These telecom batteries can be used in remote cellular sites, PBX backup stations, access control and security systems, first response emergency communication systems, digital video recording systems, central office facilities or any uninterrupted power supply (UPS) application. The Unigy battery can be sent anywhere in the world safely and easily by all means of transport as these AGM batteries are rated non-spillable by ICAO. IMDG, IATA and DOT.

If you need a Unigy Telecom Battery it would be best to call us and arrange a quote as many of these are a special order item and may take a little extra time to fulfill.

What Does PBX mean?

PBX stands for Private Branch Exchange, which is a private telephone network used within a company. Users of the PBX phone system share a number of outside lines for making external phone calls.

What is a UPS?

UPS is short for Uninterruptible Power Supply. These devices keep what ever is plugged into them running normally for a period of time when AC power goes down or fluctuates. In many cases, such as with telecommunications and emergency response systems, it is critical to keep data streaming, lines open and fully powered.
