Parts Diagrams

To use these exploded view part diagrams, you will first need to know or locate your 5-digit model number for your Power Wheels branded ride-on toy. This can be found on a 4" x 2" white sticker. The most common sticker locations are the driver side door or inside or near the battery compartment. (Example images on where to look for the model number and how to interpret, can be found under the columns listed below).

When looking at the schematic, any part number displayed in bold font cannot be offered for resale. These would have to be installed by an Authorized Power Wheels Service Center such as Impact Battery. Finding the Model Number Sticker on Your Power Wheels Toys

First, let's take a step back and consider how you to determine you actually own a Power Wheels branded toy. Mattel, which owns Fisher-Price, developed the brand name "Power Wheels" back in the 1980's. They are the 700 lb. gorilla in the ride-on toy space. This success has created an interesting paradox. Many people now use the words "Power Wheels" generically to refer to all types of ride-on toys. That small error in speech leads to mistaken purchases, frustration and added costs when replacing broken and worn out parts.

A sure fire way to quickly identify if you have a true Power Wheels ride-on toy (even before locating the model number as described below), is by looking at where the license plate would appear. Every ride-on toy made by Mattel has either the Fisher-Price logo or Power Wheels logo displaying as the license plate.

Locating that logo at the license plate will save you some time. Other ride-on brands put their model number sticker in some of the same locations as Mattel and the overall look of the sticker is eerily similar.

Locating and Understanding The Model Number Sticker

Every Power Wheels ride-on toy made by Fisher-Price has a 4" x 2" white sticker located on the inside would-be-driver-side door or close to or within the battery storage compartment. Compare the three example locations in the image below.

The model number stickers are all set up the same way. Left justified with the Model name appearing first. Below which you find the Model Number, Date Code and any US patents. The right side will have their logo and toll free phone numbers listed.

The first 5 alpha numeric characters of the model number are what you need to be able to use the replacement parts diagrams in the list chart above.
