6V 900mA Power Wheels Charger 00801-1779 for Red Battery
Charge your 6V RED battery with this Power Wheels 6 volt charger.
This 6V Power Wheels battery charger, part number 00801-1779, can only be used to charge the RED Power Wheels battery 00801-0712 or 00801-1459. It is NOT compatible with the smaller blue 6V battery.
If your battery is fully depleted it could take up to 12 hours to fully recharge. The charger produces 6 volts at a max current output of 900mAh (0.9A). The DC plug adapter on the end of the wire is refered to as the A-Style plug and is uniquely designed to attach to the red battery.
Refurbished a Toy from 2002 or Prior?
12-volt toys such as the Harley Davidson motorcycle (74290, 74370) that take two 6-volt batteries made prior to 2002 were recalled. The original 12V charger and connection system are no longer made and should not be used.
However, you can use the 00801-1779 charger. It is best to buy a second charger so you can charge both 6V batteries at one time. Otherwise you need to charge one and then wait to use the toy until the second battery is charged.
