The Tuffcare Challenger BP 5000 power wheelchair requires (2) 12 Volt 35Ah (U1) batteries. These batteries can be safely charged with our 5A chargers, or for faster charges, our 7A chargers. Gel and AGM batteries require different chargers to charge safely and correctly. If you choose to purchase Gel batteries, and do not have a charger, be sure to purchase a Gel compatible charger as well. The Challenger BP 5000 has a rear wheel power shock system for comfort and more precise high speed control.
