The Tuffcare Challenger DX 1500 powered wheelchair requires two (2) 12V 35Ah (U1) batteries. If you choose to purchase Gel batteries, be sure to also purchase a Gel charger if you do not already own one. A flat free airless pneumatic rear tire provides additional riding comfort and there are different seat widths available. The compact frame allows it to be folded easily for transportation purposes.
