The Tuffcare Challenger FX 1700 powered wheelchair requires two (2) 12 Volt 35Ah (U1) batteries. These batteries can be safely charged with our 5A chargers, or for faster charges, our 7A chargers. If you choose to purchase Gel batteries, be sure to also purchase a Gel charger if you do not already own one. The front wheel design delivers an extremely maneuverable and stable ride, making it a perfect fit for someone with an active lifestyle.
