The Ranger RZR 800 from 2008 to 2013 is the only SxS or UTV made by Polaris that uses a different battery. Not sure why they broke the mold on this one but it seems to work. As always with these off-road vehicles it is best to maximize your batteries Amp Hour (AH) to better compensate for all the auxiliary components and modifications we tend to add to these machines.
