YFM450FG Grizzly (2007-2014)

The Yamaha YFM450FG Grizzly takes the 310 CCA YTX20HL ATV battery. Many of the current Application & Specification books, including Yuasa up until the 2013 / 2014 edition, indicate this four wheeler uses the YTX14AH-BS AGM battery, which is widely used in the Yamaha Big Bear, Kodiak and smaller Grizzly quads. If you believe this to be correct then please follow the link above and purchase that smaller battery. However, the 2015-2016 Yuasa Application book now indicates that all years from 2007 thru 2014 require the larger YTX20HL battery which has opposite polarity. The dimensions of this larger battery are 6 7/8 x 3 7/16 x 6 1/8 inches compared to 5 5/16 x 3 1/2 x 6 9/16 inches for the smaller one.
