Schauer 48 Volt 3A Battery Charger Maintainer JAC0348

The JAC0348 is a 48V 3 Amp charger maintainer used often on 48 volt golf carts that are not used for extended periods of time and have primary chargers that turn off or shut down after getting the battery bank to full charge. This Schauer charger will then maintain the battery bank at full charge during the off season providing extended battery life. When used in conjunction with an on-board desulfator the life and health of the batteries can be extended 2-3x longer than not using this combination. The desulfator would then be left on the battery when the cart is in use and would continue to prevent sulfation buildup as you re-charge using the carts primary charger.

Since the JAC0348 is a fully automatic charger in its own right, it can be used on smaller 48 volt battery banks as the primary charger. It will never over charge your batteries and can be left connected indefinitely without causing harm.
