Battery Fest 2018: We Won A TV!
Featuring world class venues, incredible prizes and gracious hosts, Energy Products of Madison Heights, MI (Detroit metro suburb) hosted the 3rd annual Battery Fest September 9-10, 2018. These guys know how to throw a party while facilitating meaningful business relationships.
One major difference to this year’s gathering was the inclusion of not only Battery Specialists but of major fortune 500 companies that we knowingly or indirectly serve such as Chrysler, Taylor Dunn, and Central Transport. Having the opportunity to rub shoulders with some of the top business leaders in the world in such an intimate setting was and is priceless.
Starting with a private reception at the Ford Museum Sunday evening and ending with a party deck experience at the Tigers vs. Astros ballgame in Comerica Park, Battery Fest 2018 struck a wonderful balance of business and recreation leading to deeper relationships between vendors, retailers and commercial end users.
Major battery, charger and equipment manufacturers were represented. Some of the more notable names cross over to multiple categories but below is a small sampling of vendors listed by their most recognized lines:

Of course Battery Fest would not be Battery Fest without the over-the-top prize giveaways. Off the top of my head there was a three day vacation package, a Polaris Ranger XUV, multiple rebates and gift cards up to $500, a family camping equipment package and oh yeah a 40” flat screen TV won by yours truly!
For those of you that missed out due to other commitments, budget constraints, or lack of awareness you need to mark your calendar for September 2019. Yes, you have opportunity to party, but more importantly you get to deepen relationships and seek opportunity to grow yourself and your business. It’s not often you get to do all three at one time.
