Additionally, this battery can retain its charge even after sitting idle for more than two years. With proper charging, many boaters have reported that these batteries can last for more than seven years before needing replacement.

Optima 34M

The Optima 34M blue-top marine battery is an excellent starting battery, especially for its price. Like most of the best boat batteries, the Optima 34M pairs a sealed case with AGM technology to produce a leak-free battery that can be used in almost any orientation. The Optima 34M also utilizes Optima's proprietary Spiralcell technology, allowing the battery to charge faster and resist vibration. In ideal conditions, the Optima 34M can be completely recharged in less than 40 minutes.
