Don't Let a Dead Battery Steal Your Friday Freedom Face!
We were in the process of testing and writing a 3 part series identifying the differences between the various lithium jumper cable kits when I came across a 2012 blog draft from an employee that for one reason or another was overlooked and forgotten about until now. Reviewing her account of events, I was very much entertained and realized there are some definite technology improvements & takeaways we can ascertain from her experience. As the title alludes, this will not be our typical educational / informational battery related blog post. Instead, I ask that we put our differences aside, take a moment to pause and pray for Eli.
Who is Eli? Eli is a little boy struggling to survive a Stem Cell transplant. According to the doctors, the actual transplant is progressing and has NOT been rejected by Eli’s body. However, very shortly after the surgery, he acquired a virus that has been attacking his lungs and shutting down his kidneys. This is obviously, hindering the progression of the transplant and robbing his body of the energy and nutrients needed to begin producing the much needed ‘T’ cells that can fight a virus. He now lies lifeless on his hospital bed struggling for every breath and yet after months of battling this virus his little body has not given up! The doctors have prepared the family for what appears to be the inevitable, but left the window of hope open saying “it would take a miracle.”

The short answer to this question is Components, Marketing, Price, Paint & Packaging! When comparing the various pocket-sized 12000mAh lithium jump starters such as the Antigravity Micro Start XP-1, Weego JS12, Lil Lightening RP-2, PowerAny 12000, GooLoo GP01, the Energen EN-PJX6, istart, Dr. Auto, Jump Tiger and CarKu one might notice they tend to appear eerily similar. This is because, for all sakes and purposes, from the outside looking in, they are! The basic design

Buy MotoBatt Batteries for your Gold Wing!
The Motobatt MBTX20U has been featured in the Gold Wing Road Riders Association (GWRRA) magazine, Wing World. The feature article titled, Wired Up, lists some 'must have' and useful electrical devices and accessories for all Gold Wing motorcycle owners. But when it was all said and done, the editors listed the MotoBatt MBTX20U (actually the MBTX20UHD which is the black version of the standard yellow colored MBTX20U battery) as a "complete...solid battery, [that] is the heart of your Gold Wing's electrical system." They went on to compliment the brand saying, "It has more than enough power to get the job done" when speaking of the batteries 310 cold cranking amps (CCA) and 21 amp hour capacity (AH).
There is More Than Just The MBTX20UHD
We agree, MotoBatt should be at the center of every bikes electrical system, not just the Honda Gold Wing! Their attention to squeezing high CCA and and high AH capacity into every battery is key to their success.

Long Story Made Short
BMW motorcycle enthusiasts that desire the best for their bike understandably purchased the MotoBatt MB51814 sealed AGM Quadflex battery. Over the past couple seasons, however, they were often left frustrated and discouraged. You see MotoBatt made an error in sizing the MB51814 which replaces the Yuasa 51913 and 51814 conventional batteries. BMW owners that had ABS and required the 51913 battery discovered that the MB51814 was a hair to wide and a smidgen to long. Those that originally required the 51814 conventional batteries (generally the bikes without ABS) seemed to have no issues. Under closer inspection it was determined the OEM 51913 had a slight taper to it making the bottom narrower. MotoBatt did not catch this distinction when they first went into production.
The Long Way Round
It took Ewan McGregor, who played Obi-Wan Kenobi in the prequel trilogy of Star Wars and Charley Boorman who appeared in The Serpent’s Kiss and Hope & Glory, 4 months to travel 19,000

As many of you know, we like to share stories regarding how products we have suggested and sell, IMPACT our customers day-to-day living. Today's story comes from a farmer in Marion, IN who, no less than a week ago, purchased the PulseTech XC100-P. This is a 12 volt 2.5 amp Xtreme Pulse Charger.
Frank's XC100-P Experience
As with many do-it-your-selfers, Frank has been around the block a few times and knows a thing or two about batteries...and cars, tractors, corn, futures, growing degree days, etc. He had heard about Chris's story involving his dying BobCat batteries and how the XC100-P changed everything. Understandably, Frank wanted to know if these "desulfanators" would work in his situation. And knowing their excellent track record, I of course, quickly replied "I have no doubt."
Frank, like many mid-west farmers, collects and restores old John Deere tractors and has a modern army of tractors and farm equipment. Of course not every tractor can be used every day or even regularly for that matter. Which, luckily for us, creates the foundation for our story.
